Social Impact and Community Outreach?
At the core of our vision, we aim to ensure that patients suffering from diabetes receive quality care at primary health care level. We strive to provide primary health care providers with the necessary knowledge and skill to offer good care at a community-based level.
We provide teaching of nursing practitioners and doctors at primary and secondary care sites, through presentations and Q&A sessions, focusing mainly on diabetes but with scope that extends to all areas of endocrinology.
We also advise on management of challenging patients, in both an in- and outpatient setting, to enable practitioners to care for these patients at community level.
